Cultivating our talents as face painters, balloon twisters, magicians, storytellers and bringers-of-joy, we love to make your special days that much brighter.

With over a decade of professional entertainment experience and mentorship from many of the worlds most talented face and body artists, Living Magic began in Vancouver in 2013. Here we wanted to create a company dedicated to the creation of wonder and delight for children and adults alike. Living Magic has now become a vibrant addition to Vancouver parties, dedicated to a truly exceptional level of professional entertainment that creates unforgettable special events for you and your loved ones.

There is no greater gift to us than eyes lit up with awe when they see their painted reflection; an event brought to life with balloons, a child convinced they are magic, stories and games that bring laughs. Whatever the occasion, we are here to bring you joy.

Meet your entertainer!

What are some of your favourite designs to paint?
Any of the full faces with lots of sponge work. I love to see the faces of kids and parents after they have been fully transformed! It's amazing to see how your little one can go from their regular selves to a super hero or fairy in minutes! 
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
I like to think I'd be a centaur or faun! I love the outdoors so would feel in my element running through magical forests. 
What is your favourite birthday party food?
Fries. I love potatoes done in any way shape or form. I also love sushi! 
What is your real-life superpower?
Love! I love being kind to my family and friends, and trying to make everyone's day a little bit brighter and their hearts a little lighter. 
When you aren't painting faces and making magic, how do you like to spend your time? 
I have worked as an actor, director, producer, and teacher. Most recently I worked as the managing director at an all-abilities theatre, where I got to work with some fantastic people and used my writing skills to secure grants for ongoing operations. Now, however, I work as a counsellor with individuals, families, and couples! While I'm no longer entertaining at parties myself, I still love interacting with our clients and seeing happy smiling faces through the photos they send us! www.juliasiedlanowska.com

Eva!
What are some of your favourite designs to paint/twist?
I love to paint unicorns, spider man and butterflies. My favourite twisting balloons are Pikachu and any famous princesses. I enjoy when the kids say, "It’s amazing."
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
Fairy godmother. I like to make kids’ dreams come true.
What is your favourite birthday party food?
Dessert.
What is your real-life superpower?
Smile and patience; teaching my kids to always have a Positive Attitude.
When you aren't painting faces/twisting balloons and making magic, how do you like to spend your time?
Spending time with my kids and playing with my dog.

*please note: Eva won't be dressed or painted up like this when she comes to your party! But she WILL be dressed in our custom uniform- a jolly, colourful skirt or professional, all-black attire. She will also use all her skills to give you the best party ever!  

Matt!
What are some of your favourite designs to twist?
My favourite things to twist are swords, unicorns, puppies swans elephants and dinosaurs. 
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
I'd like to be a phoenix so I could restart life on tough days.
What is your favourite birthday party food?
Fav birthday party food is rice crispy squares, nanaimo bars, smokies and lemonade!
What is your real-life superpower?
My real life superpower is the ability to make children laugh even if they're grumpy. 
When you aren't twisting balloons and making magic, how do you like to spend your time? 
On days not working with kids I like to write poetry and ride my bicycle. I would deeply like to spend more time with my own children. 

Christine!
What are some of your favourite designs to paint?
My favourite designs to paint are definitely tigers and flower fairies. I’ve really made those designs my own over the years and they get some of the biggest reactions. For balloons, I can make an adorable turtle that is always a winner. 
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
Definitely a fairy. As a teenager, I painted a large image of a fairy on my bedroom wall. It took me months and made me feel so proud. 
What is your favourite birthday party food?
So many to choose from! I used to have ice cream cakes at my birthday as a kid. So, I’ll go with that… especially on a hot day! 
What is your real-life superpower?
Turning my faceprinting station into something that feels like a spa! Even the busiest children slow down and wait patiently to be transformed. 
When you aren't painting, how do you like to spend your time? ​
I love doing acroyoga (partner acrobatics) and olympic weightlifting. When I’m not doing parties, I run a poetry studio where I teach poetry writing classes and Speech Arts. 

Rayanne!
What are some of your favourite designs to paint?
Heroes, Princesses, Princes, Flowers, Scenery, Mermaids.
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
I'd be a Sprite Fairy. 
What is your favourite birthday party food?
Popcorn and cotton candy.
What is your real-life superpower?
Decorating any space with beauty and painting paintings that make memories for a lifetime.
When you aren't painting, how do you like to spend your time? ​
Studying the painting masters, painting up a beautiful work of art made with love. Helping others.

Nancy!
​What are some of your favourite designs to paint?
I love flowers with rainbows, as well as our sunset design. 
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
I’d like to be a dragon that can fly and breathe fire, just like Penelope, the little dragon in Barbie as Rapunzel.
What is your favourite birthday party food?
Birthday cakes! 
What is your real-life superpower?
My real-life superpower is that I can always have dessert or bubble tea even after I am super full. My stomach is always prepared for more food.
When you aren't painting faces and making magic, how do you like to spend your time? 
I love shopping and eating on my own time! I also love to watch movies/Korean dramas.

Clara!
What are some of your favourite designs to paint?
I love painting animals and flowers.
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
I would like to be the TOTORO in the movie by HAYAO MIYAZAKI.
What is your favourite birthday party food?
I love the desserts at the parties, especially if they are fancy.  
What is your real-life superpower?
My real-life superpower is always keeping a positive mindset even when something really bad happened.
When you aren't painting faces and making magic, how do you like to spend your time? 
I like to go to different restaurants to try out new food and watch different movies.

Selina!
What are some of your favourite designs to paint?
I really like designing flowers, butterflies and using a lot of sparkles! :)
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
I would be a mermaid! I love the sea, swimming and all the sea creatures.
What is your favourite birthday party food?
I love sweet food so I always look forward to deserts at parties.
What is your real-life superpower?
My real-life superpower is always looking at the bright side of things and maintaining a positive mindset. 
When you aren't painting faces/twisting balloons and making magic, how do you like to spend your time? 
I would be going out with friends or spending time with my family! I also love trying new food and making all kinds of desserts.

Jie!
What are some of your favourite designs to paint/twist?
I like to twist balloons in the shape of various cute animals such as horses, dogs and kittens. This process is very amazing.
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
I wish I could be a dragon so that I could go to heaven and earth.
What is your favourite birthday party food?
I prefer sushi.
What is your real-life superpower?
Be positive and optimistic every day.
When you aren't painting faces/twisting balloons and making magic, how do you like to spend your time? 
I will continue to learn new skills. In addition to new balloon shapes, I will also continue to practice face painting.

What is your favourite part of working with Living Magic?
I love it when I can match entertainers to clients, and receive the great reviews about our entertainers.
If you were a mythical creature, what would you be?
Frodo from Lord of the Rings! Imagine living in the forest of shire. 
What is your favourite birthday party food?
I always love the finger food, chicken wings, veggies, dips and salsa and chips.
What is your real life super power?
I love creating meals for family and friends to share, along with stories and laughter,
around our big dining room table.
When you aren’t working with Living Magic how do you spend your time?
If I’m not entertaining family and friends, you’ll find me on the golf course, biking trails or hiking in our beautiful province.
